Trips to Egypt from Russia have significantly decreased in price — this has led to a general decrease in the demand of Russians for a desire to relax in this country. As Kommersant reports, in some cases, prices for resorts in the African country have decreased by 1.5 times.

"This is due to the appearance of "burning" offers, which operators manage to implement only a few days before departure," the publication clarifies. The report says that despite the return of this destination to the Russian market after a long ban on flights, Egypt is not popular, unlike tours to the United Arab Emirates.

It is noteworthy that some tours to Egypt have fallen by half and amount to about 50 thousand rubles for two for a week tour, although in September they cost 100-110 thousand rubles. Moreover, this has nothing to do with seasonality — in October and November there is an active tourist period in Egypt.
