A Lkor and Co., the company that owns L'Etoile stores, bought the Druzhka cosmetics chain, becoming its sole owner, the press service of L'Etoile reported.
Soon the company will be managed by a new CEO. It will be the former top manager of the jewelry manufacturer "Adamas" Stanislav Melinger.
L'Etoile officials consider the merger a strategic step for both L'Etoile and Druzhka, as it will increase the assortment of both networks, offer customers even more affordable prices, and expand the speed and methods of delivery of goods. Tatiana Volodina, General Director of L'Etoile, commented that "the maximum synergy of two successful perfume and cosmetics companies will allow us to strengthen the business of both companies in absolutely all directions."
Today there are 287 stores of the Druzhka chain operating in Russia, 1000 stores are represented in 250 Russian cities, more than 60,000 products are sold on the company's marketplace, the release says.
LLC "Alcor & Co." became the owner of 90% of the shares in the authorized capital of LLC "Taber Trade" in January 2020. 5% of the shares then remained with the founder of the company Dmitry Tamurka, another 5% — with its executive director Pavel Smirnov.
