Red Soft and Pragmatic Tools have developed a solution to reduce the risks of import substitution

Domestic developers of Red Soft and Pragmatic Tools have confirmed the compatibility of the Red OS operating system and the Pragmatic Tools Migrator software package. Now Red OS administrators will be able to automatically import accounts and groups from Microsoft Active Directory to FreeIPA, as well as keep them up to date.

Russian companies, when switching to domestic operating systems, often have to face the problem of data migration from Microsoft Active Directory (AD) to FreeIPA. Pragmatic Tools Migrator helps to solve this issue.

"In large companies, Microsoft Active Directory is often managed by several employees. Automation of migration processes allows import substitution of IT infrastructure safely and without inflating the staff. It minimizes the human factor and keeps the level of information security at a high level," commented Damir Shiyafetdinov, co–founder of Pragmatic Tools.
