Galina Volkova is a graduate of Shakhtinsky Institute of Technology of Consumer Services (1985) and Moscow State University of Design and Technology (post-graduate studies, 2003).

She worked her way up from a laboratory assistant of the leather goods design department, quality engineer, fashion designer to the head of the section of the orthopedic footwear factory, chief engineer and director of a small enterprise, general director of her own enterprise.

Corresponding member of the International Academy of Management, head of the fashion and accessories section of the Moscow Union of Designers, board member of the Russian Union of Leatherworkers and Shoemakers, board member of the Association of Children's Goods Industry, deputy chairman of the Board of Trustees of the State Budgetary Institution Crisis Center for Women and Children in Moscow, member of the Council for the Disabled of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Peace, Friendship and Development, member of the Dissertation Council of the Russian State University named after Kosygina (Technologies. Design. Art).

Winner of numerous Russian and international contests of shoes and clothes designers.

In 2010, Volkova was awarded a certificate of merit by the Mayor of Moscow for the development of a new direction in the field of rehabilitation of disabled people, in 2010 was recognized by the International Academy of Management as the Manager of the Year.

In 2011, she was recognized as the winner of the National Prize of the children's goods industry Golden Bear for a collection of children's adaptive clothing, in 2015 she was awarded the Moscow Government award Director of the Year.

In 2016, the company ORTOMODA was awarded the title of Industry Leader 2016 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. In 2018, Galina was awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia for her contribution to the Russian light industry and long and conscientious work. In 2019, she was awarded a diploma of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and became a winner of the contest Impulse of Good.
