Vyacheslav Polyakov graduated from Moscow Physics and Technology Institute in 2006.

Vyacheslav Polyakov is a Candidate of Technical Sciences, Laureate of the Government Prize in Science and Technology for Young Scientists in 2013, Laureate of the Moscow Government Prize for Young Scientists in 2018.

Since the foundation of NT-MDT company in 2013, Vyacheslav Polyakov has been developing both scanning probe microscopes and combined systems that integrate the capabilities of scanning probe microscopes methods, as well as methods of optical microscopy and spectroscopy.

During the past period NT-MDT company received seven patents for inventions, as well as developed, registered and certified the latest generation software for the control of scanning probe microscopes, processing and analysis of data obtained from them (NOVA PX), an expert system to optimize the work on scanning probe microscope ScanTronic, as well as service programs: NTEGRA Base Firmware, PX ULTRA Firmware, PX ULTRA Loader.

NT-MDT's products are well known both in Russia and all over the world under registered trademarks: NT-MDT and NT-MDT Spectrum Instruments.
