In 1990 Vadim Smirnov graduated from the Moscow Andreev Technical School of Railway Transport.
In 1998, he graduated from the Moscow Hydro-Melioration Institute.
In 2010, he received his Master of Business Administration diploma from the Moscow Business School.
In 2008, he was a commercial director at the Diana Association. At that time, he was the first Russian manufacturer of plastic drainage systems.
In 2009, he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the Diana Association.
By this time, Vadim Smirnov comes up with the idea to expand the range of products to take over production in the low season. The founders of the company, having considered the drawings of ventilation elements, did not support this proposal and refused financing.
In 2011, the contract with the Diana Association ended and Vadim Smirnov was invited to another Spectr SM company. In the new organization, the founders liked the idea of producing ventilation elements, and already in 2012 the first six forms were made.
In 2014 TECHNOPLAST company was officially registered. As of August 2020, the number of moulds increased to 48 pieces.
