At present, the company is the only enterprise in Russia specializing in production of epitaxial structures based on silicon and sapphire for a wide range of semiconductor devices.

In 1997, Tyurnev graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology (Technical University) with a red diploma in solid-state electronics materials.

In 2000, he completed a postgraduate course at the National Research University of Electronic Technology with a scientific degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

In 1998-2000 he was an engineer of the second category at Elma company.

2004-present Tyurnev works in Epiel company as Deputy Head of Marketing and Foreign Trade Department, Head of Foreign Trade Department, Deputy Commercial Director, Commercial Director, since 2018 - Nikolay Tyurnev holds the position of General Director.

In 2010, he received additional education in the Higher School of Economics with the qualification of Master of Business Administration.

In 2018, he was trained at the Gamma Training Center on the additional professional program to ensure the state secret protection.
