Early in his career, he gained experience in investment banking at Flemings Bank. He moved to RUSNANO Capital from Russia's leading private equity firm, Baring Vostok Capital Partners, where he was the Director and Head of the Capital Markets Division.

Prior to Baring Vostok Capital Partners he was the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Renova Group and previously worked for two of the Group's major portfolio companies, Tyumen Oil Company (Tyumenskaya Neftyanaya Kompaniya, TNK-BR) and Siberian-Urals Aluminum Company, performing a wide range of corporate finance duties.

From June 2012, he was Head of the Prospective Projects Directorate at RUSNANO Group. Since May 2013 was Managing Director for Investment Activities at RUSNANO Group. In february 2014 was Managing Director for Investment Activity at RUSNANO Management Company.
