Residents of the Yakut "Labor Quarter" attracted 35 million from the presidential Fund

Residents of the first Far Eastern creative cluster "Labor Quarter" were able to attract 35 million rubles. The money was allocated from the Presidential Grants Fund. Afanasy Savvin, General Director of the Yakutia Development Corporation, told reporters about this.

"The first projects of residents have already begun to be implemented before the cluster found its physical form. Literally this year we helped residents to attract 35 million rubles from the Presidential Grants Fund. We are already doing this work," the CEO explained.

Thanks to this work, it is planned to create about 350 jobs. Savvin said that the cluster will also attract companies from other cities and regions. As an example, he cited the fact that the digital college and the Faculty of Animation are opening the Synergy University on the basis of the cluster.

"The development of creative industries is very important for Yakutia. It seems to me that it is there that high-paying jobs will be created in the future, it is there that the Yakuts will realize their ambitions, talents, create products that will be in demand not only in the country, but also around the world," Afanasy Savvin said.
